About us

We are Andrijana and Vanja – IT professionals who fancied the idea of spending summers in the countryside and enjoying a new, more chilled out way of life.

After twelve years of living and working in the UK, we came back to our home town of Zagreb and from there, shaped a new life in Istria where, for the last ten seasons, we have been running our perfect rural hideaway.

We love welcoming guests into our two lovely apartments (built and decorated with lots of love and excitement) and woods and meadows surrounding them. There is also a pool to cool you down in hot summer Istrian days.

For many years, we ran a blog – you can still see our journey from looking for the land and building the house to day to day life of running an Istrian summer holiday place.
